VERSIONS

New Fiorino
With the New Fiorino your business will reach new destinations: safe and comfortable out of town, it is nimble and lively in city traffic. It handles as easily as a city car, it is as strong and roomy as a veritable van.

The New Fiorino comes in three trim levels: Base, SX and Adventure (available after the launch).

Standard on all versions: ABS with EBD; driver airbag; power steering; automatic headlamp adjustment; side mouldings; integral hub caps; tinted windows; protective ladder; radio/CD player; driver seat with armrest, lumbar and height adjustment and a height adjustable steering-wheel.

Additional elements supplied as standard on the SX version include: electrically controlled rear-view mirrors with demisting function; power windows at front; sliding door on the passenger (near) side; independent opening of the loading compartment doors; central remote locking, and automatic locking with the car running (at a speed of over 3mph); storage compartment door; electric windows; extra quality upholstery and exterior temperature sensor.

A new special version, Adventure, to become available after the launch, features: 15" alloy wheels; larger-sized side mouldings; raised suspension; engine shield and mud flaps. A wide range of options and accessories includes: passenger airbag and side bags, parking sensors, car radio/CD with MP3 player, Bluetooth® system with voice controls, heated driver’s seat, longitudinal roof bars, heated rear window, carpeted loading compartment, Dead lock system that inhibits all door linkages so that the doors cannot be opened whether from the outside or from the inside and many more options…

LOADING CAPACITY

Surprisingly big and versatile
Clever dimensions. The loading compartment is 1.52 m long,(and its length can be increased to 2.49 m with the passenger seat folded over),1.47 m wide, with a distance between the wheelarches of 1.04 m, it is 1.18 m wide and has a load volume of 2.5 m3, that can be raised to 2.8 m3 by double folding the passenger seat.

Roomy and well organised, the loading compartment has a flat, ribbed floor, 6 cargo retaining rings, and a an optional removable torch, which serves as a regular light fixture when hooked to its support on a side wall.

The ladder type partition, consisting of 9 rungs, protects the driver against possible displacements or intrusion of the goods carried. The partition can be had in different versions: fully panelled, glazed or partly panelled (plate up to the waist line, topped by a grate). The rear door of the Fiat Fiorino consists of 2 asymmetrical (40/60) panelled wings opening to 90° or 180° degrees to facilitate loading and unloading operations (up to 1.14 m wide and up to 1.06 m high). Moreover, the loading compartment floor height is only 53 cm from the ground: unbeatable comfort!

ENGINES

The right get up and go for timely deliveries. Under the bonnet, the New Fiorino unveils its spirit. Zippy engines that are friendly to the environment and combine fuel economy with low maintenance costs: this is the common denominator of the two versions of the New Fiorino, one powered by the 1.4 petrol engine and the other one equipped with the Multijet 1.3. Driving is always pleasurable, easy, smooth, even in the most difficult situations.

Sturdy and dependable, the Euro4 compliant 1.4 petrol engine is economical and easy to maintain. Fuel feed is by means of phased sequential Multipoint electronic injection, with returnless system that ensures improved performance and driveability, and at the same time makes for optimised consumption and emissions. 73 bhp power output, 118 Nm peak torque, manual 5-speed gearbox and a top speed of 97mph.

Clean and quiet, it is just perfect for door-to-door deliveries in city centres.

Economical and serviceable, the 1.3 MultiJet 16v 75 bhp is the Euro4 engine that performs equally well in town traffic and on motorway stretches. Combined cycle consumption is just 4.5 lit./100 and the oil has to be changed only every 18,000 miles. 75 bhp power output, 190 Nm peak torque, CO2 emissions are low as 119 g/km, 5-speed manual gearbox, 97mph top speed: an amazing mix of performance and economy.

This engine will also be available with Comfort-Matic 6-speed robotised gearbox, offering the responsiveness and precision that are typical of manual gearboxes mated to the comfort of doing away with the clutch pedal. The system, in fact, is controlled by an electronic control unit that manages gear changes with maximum accuracy, reducing driver fatigue. The Comfort-Matic gearbox features 3 operating modes: automatic, automatic/economy (geared to fuel economy), manual (sequential).

COMFORT & DESIGN

The details that make the difference

Functional design, with a strong personality: rounded shapes, essential lines, a bold, sturdy front.

The front has a unique personality, which is strong but not at all aggressive: the short bonnet, flanked by futuristic, technical headlamps, conveys an impression of strength, which is underscored by impact shields and tall bumpers, with optional built-in fog lights, that protect the vehicle front and sides. The front pillars evolve from a strong connection in the bumper and form an arch that blends into the roof.

Its new aerodynamic configuration enables the New Fiorino to have a Cx (drag coefficient) of 0.31: a truly brilliant value, reflecting a drag force similar to that of a sedan.

The compact, linear profile is comprised of a muscular lower part, characterised by conspicuous wheelarches, while the upper part is enclosed by a frame that makes look it sturdy and structured.

At rear, a frame created by faceting defines both the load volume and the generous rear access, endowing the New Fiorino with an innovative, futuristic style, with finely crafted, sophisticated two-colour light clusters.

The New Fiorino does not neglect comfort. The interior is spacious, ergonomically designed and eminently habitable: the wide, luminous windscreen enhances the feeling of wellbeing, and so do the comfortable, wraparound, adjustable seats. The instrument panel is fully equipped and legible and space in the cockpit has been specially conceived to let you organise your workplace most effectively, with 12 storage compartments distributed over the door panels, the facia, the handbrake tunnel.

The circulation of the air and climatic comfort are ensured by an efficient ventilation system using 8 nozzles for windshield demisting and 4 adjustable diffusers with an air flow of 400m3/h. For particularly demanding customers, manual climate control with pollen filter can be had as an option.

Numerous technical devices and the use of effective sound-absorbent materials greatly attenuate wind and engine noise and cockpit sound-proofing is excellent.

In the New Fiorino communication and multimedia systems also play a prominent role. The options offered include: Bluetooth® system with voice controls, cell phone interface and a dedicated frame on the facia, radio with CD and MP3 player with 4 speakers and ad hoc display on the dash.

SAFETY Looks small, feels great. And is very safe.

The structure of the New Fiorino and its equipment have been designed to ensure the highest degree of occupant safety.

The non warping cockpit is protected by programmed deformation zones front and rear that absorb the energy generated in a crash; generously sized bumpers and protective side mouldings ensure maximum protection for the vehicle, especially in low speed impacts.

Standard features include: ABS with EBD, hydraulic power steering, disk brakes at front, 3-point seat belts with pretensioners and load limiters, driver airbag. On request you can rely on many other safety features, such as the passenger airbag, side bags, parking sensors and Dead lock, a system that inhibits the door linkage making it impossible to open the doors whether from the outside or from the interior.

Enhanced security during loading and unloading operations is achieved by means of separate locking of front and rear doors, which means you can use the loading compartment even when the cab is closed.

STRONG POINTS

Compact
The New Fiorino has been specially designed for cities small and big. Easy to drive, to park, to load and unload, it is the only vehicle that will take you without difficulties where other vans cannot get. 1.71m wide and 3.86m long, it is extremely easy to handle in heavy traffic, thanks to a steering diameter of only 9.95m. As nimble as a city car, roomy and sturdy like a van, it is the best workmate for your activities, out of town or in the city centre.

Spacious
Compact outside and roomy inside. The loading compartment floor is surprisingly big: regular, square, fully usable. The New Fiorino has been designed down to the smallest detail to accommodate the load with ease. It has a loading volume of 2.5m3, which, thanks to the possibility of folding over the passenger seat flush with the floor, can be increased to 2.8m3, with an overall length of 2,491mm. With a loading compartment floor height of 52.7cm, it has a payload of 610kg.

Economical
Powered by either the 1.4 8v 73 bhp petrol engine or the MultiJet 1.3 16v 75 bhp turbo diesel, the New Fiorino is inexpensive to run and very clean. Both engines are Euro4 compliant and ensure fuel economy mated to low maintenance costs. In particular, the 1.3 MultiJet uses only 4.5 litres to cover 62 miles, which means that on a tankful of diesel fuel you can go up to 620 miles! And it is friendly to the environment with CO2 emissions as low as 119 g/km. Even operating costs are very affordable, with a two-year maintenance interval and oil change every 18,000 miles.

Repair and maintenance costs are low. The most delicate expensive parts, such as the engine bonnet, the light clusters and the bumpers are placed in a convenient position to be less exposed in the event of a crash. The side mouldings can be easily removed, and the replacement of damaged radiator supports and headlamps is more economical thanks to a special repair kit.

The new Fiorino has a very low emission level 119 g/km CO2 with the 1.3 MultiJet.
