VERSIONS
The Scudo Panel van transport at work. With the introduction of the Scudo Business, there are now two Scudo panel vans for you to choose from.
Business
The new Scudo Business is our most economical van – designed to keep your company’s costs low. Primarily aimed at the Fleet market, these secure and reliable panel vehicles come with 15” wheels. However, we also offer attractive entry-level pricing on short wheelbase vans for businesses of all sizes.
Comfort
The Scudo Comfort makes every trip a pleasurable experience – not to mention a safe one. Our ABS system, with EBD and driver’s airbag, comes as standard. As does remote-control central locking and electric windows. Also, with a height-adjustable driver’s seat, you get excellent external visibility.
This van is similar in specification to the Business version. The only difference is we’ve equipped the Scudo Comfort with 16” wheels, lower cargo area panelling, 12v point, and extra drinks holders on the dashboard.
LOADING CAPACITY
Like a genuine commercial vehicle
The Scudo Van has a loading capacity of between 1000 kg and 1200 kg, including the driver and a loading volume of between 5m³ and 7m³.
The length of the loading compartment is 2254 mm in the short wheelbase versions and 2584 mm in the long wheelbase versions, while the width between the wheel arches is 1245 mm.
Loading and unloading cargo is facilitated by the extremely low loading threshold, at a height of only 49 cm (with pneumatic suspension).
The optional pneumatic suspension setup also enables the loading threshold to be adjusted when the vehicle is stationary, allowing the vehicle to be lowered another 5 cm, and activated simply using a switch in the loading compartment.
The large rear doors, which open through 90° and 180°, are joined by sliding side doors (coming as standard on both the passenger side, and driver’s side.
On the inside, the panel vans all come with a fixed metal ladder type bulkhead as standard, with the option of a full width steel bulkhead with or without a central window.
ENGINES
Lots of engines offering endless possibilities. Thoroughly tried and tested, quiet and high-performing, the three Euro 4 engines available on the New Scudo Van enable you to choose the engine best suited to your needs: if you are looking for something practical and economical to run, then go for the 90 Multijet 90 bhp or the 120 Multijet 120 bhp. And if it’s more power you’re after, then there’s the 140 Multijet Power 136 bhp, with an anti-particulate filter as standard. Quite simply, you have a choice of reliable engines offering outstanding performance and low running costs: scheduled services are only required every 18,000 miles (30,000 km).

COMFORT & DESIGN
An excellent work station, with a brand new design As of today, it is now possible to work in style. With the New Fiat Scudo, naturally. The new front conveys dynamism, modernity and strength, thanks to the innovative design of the lights, the sleek profile and the sturdy bumper strip.
If you have a long day ahead of you, the best way to face it is in absolute comfort. This is easy with the Fiat Scudo: the cab environment has undergone several changes designed to provide better sound-proofing and less vibration. The highly-visible controls are easy to use: the gear lever is on the dashboard and the electric window and wing mirror (optional) controls are on the driver’s door handle.
There are several compartments, drawers and pockets to add to the roof-shelf, offering the practicality of a genuine mobile office.
The structure of all the seats has been completely redesigned: with a brand-new shape, they have a higher seat back, longer seats and new, more wraparound padding. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in all directions (longitudinal, inclination and height) and also has an arm-rest (with a single passenger seat). Upholstery on the range is a blue cloth fabric.
All the seats come as standard with three-point safety belts plus adjustable, removable head restraints.
INNOVATIONS
Technology, a worker’s best friend. On the New Scudo, technology not only makes driving easier, but also makes your work more enjoyable.
Coming as standard on all versions, and useful in all load conditions, is the variable power steering system that makes parking the simplest thing in the world, and the headlight trim corrector for get the best orientation of the lights.
On longer journeys, you can set the cruising speed you want using the optional Cruise Control system, and then sit back and relax. Meanwhile, in cold weather, the Fiat Scudo is available with an extra heater, Webasto, which you can pre-set using a timer to ensure that you always have the perfect temperature inside the cab.
There are also numerous other devices available to ensure a safer, more relaxing drive: parking sensors, electrically-adjustable and folding wing mirrors, rain sensor and twilight sensor for the automatic activation of the wipers and headlights.
For entertainment when you are on the road, there is a choice of two radios: the first, which is standard, comes with a CD-player; the second, as an option, with a satellite navigator (with monochromatic or colour maps), GSM dual-band hands-free telephone and voice commands.
Even telephoning couldn’t be easier on the Fiat Scudo, thanks to the optional Bluetooth device that enables you to use your mobile phone using the steering wheel controls and universal hands-free system. Telephone numbers and SMS messages are shown on the multi-function display on the dashboard.
And last, but not least, there is the Fiat Code system to protect your New Scudo against attempted theft.
SAFETY
On the Scudo, you always lead the way in safety If you choose to work with the New Scudo, you also choose the very best safety guarantees.
On the road, the New Scudo is easy to drive and handles like a car: front-wheel drive with a transverse engine, McPherson type independent wheel front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension.
The braking system, with a double circuit and servo-brake, features 4 discs brakes, with self-ventilated discs at the front. The Fiat Scudo is fitted as standard with a 4-channel ABS anti-lock braking system with EBD and the HBA system (Hydraulic Brake Assistance), which automatically increases the pressure in the braking circuit in panic situations. Also available is ESP, the device that continuously monitors the grip of the tyres and, in the event of a skid, cuts in to restore direction and stability to the vehicle.
The New Scudo also offers the very best in terms of passive safety.
The bodyshell has passed the most selective crash tests: the front has programmed deformability while the high-stiffness cab is non-deformable.
All the seats, including the centre seat, come with adjustable head restraints and three-point safety belts as standard.
In addition to the driver’s airbag, there is also a passenger airbag for the front row of seats, while front and rear side and window bags are available on request.
The entire range comes with the FPS (Fire Prevention System) as standard.
The Fiat Scudo is also protected against theft and attempted break-in thanks to the remote-control deadlock system.
