VERSIONS

Between 5 and 9* people: comfort, style and elegance for everyone On the Scudo for passenger transport, you will want for nothing: it offers comfort and style combined with the practicality of a light transport vehicle. And if it’s the elegance of a people-carrier you’re looking for, go for the Panorama – the Family version is ideal for large families while companies and hotels couldn’t ask for a better calling card for business executives or guests. (* 9 seats not available on Panorama version)

Combi. Welcome to comfort on board.
The Scudo Combi provides the perfect balance between the need to transport passengers or things. It offers maximum versatility, and with a long or short wheelbase, and 5/6 seat or 8/9 seat configurations, it is ready for anything. Thanks to the great flexibility and modularity* of the rear loading compartment, it is ideal for transporting teams of workmen along with all their tools. It comes with power-steering as standard, together with the ABS system with EBD.

* On Scudo Combi versions the standard 2nd row seating compromises one tilting & removable easy access seat and a dual bench seat, but none of these seats are foldable or double foldable. To obtain 2nd row seats that are foldable it is necessary to request option code 4HF at extra cost.

Passengers become important guests
Available with 5/6 seats or 8/9* (* Not available in UK) seats, this version is ideal for large families, or for leisure time activities with groups of friends or sports teams.

The long wheelbase version has a windowed area of 5.8 m², ensuring outstanding visibility for both driver and passengers. The seats in the second and third row are raised for a better view, and for total comfort, an automatic climate control system is standard, and an additional climate control system is available for the rear. It is available with the following engines: 120 Multijet 120 bhp and, if you are looking for more power, the 140 Multijet 136 bhp.

LOADING CAPACITY

Maximum comfort and accessibility, from 1 to 9 passengers A spacious, bright and sound-proofed cabin, with room for between 5 and 9 people on two or three rows of seats, the Combi is designed to ensure there are no limits in terms of space or passengers.

Combi...
More people, more things. The Scudo Combi is easy to load and a joy to travel in. If you opt for the 5 or 6 seat version, you can be assured of a huge luggage compartment and a capacity of up to 938 kg (6 seats + 530 kg). And if you need more seats, there is the 8 or 9 seat Combi, providing comfort for your passengers and a spacious loading compartment for cargo or equipment, with a loading capacity of up to 861 kg (9 seats + 249 kg).

The seats are modular* (folding, stowable and removable), allowing you to configure the interior in whatever way you want, giving you all the space you need.

Family...
Perfect for large families. The Scudo Panorama Family is the ideal choice for sports clubs or large families. It ensures that you travel in comfort, making it ideal for passenger transport either in the 5/6-seat or 8/9*-seat configurations, both available with a long or short wheelbase. It has a loading capacity of 938 kg (6 seats + 530 kg) or 861 kg (9* seats + 249 kg), and both the second and third rows of seats can be folded, stowed or removed when you need more luggage space. (* 9 seat not available)

ENGINES

Nippy in the city, powerful on long journeys. Thoroughly tried and tested, quiet and high-performing, the three Euro 4 engines available on the New Scudo for passenger transport enable you to choose the engine best suited to your needs: if you are looking for something practical and economical to run, then go for the 90 Multijet 90 bhp or the 120 Multijet 120 bhp. And if it’s more power you’re after, then there’s the 140 Multijet Power 136 bhp, with an anti-particulate filter as standard. Quite simply, you have a choice of reliable engines offering outstanding performance and low running costs: scheduled services are only required every 18,000 miles (30,000 km).

COMFORT & DESIGN

An excellent work station, with a brand new design As of today, it is now possible to work in style. With the New Fiat Scudo, naturally. The new front conveys dynamism, modernity and strength, thanks to the innovative design of the lights, the sleek profile and the sturdy bumper strip.

If you have a long day ahead of you, the best way to face it is in absolute comfort. This is easy with the Fiat Scudo: the cab environment has undergone several changes designed to provide better sound-proofing and less vibration. The highly-visible controls are easy to use: the gear lever is on the dashboard and the electric window and wing mirror controls are on the driver’s door handle.

There are several compartments, drawers and pockets to add to the roof-shelf, offering the practicality of a genuine mobile office.

The structure of all the seats has been completely redesigned: with a brand-new shape, they have a higher seat back, longer seats and new, more wraparound padding. The driver’s seat can be adjusted in all directions (longitudinal, inclination and height) and also has an arm-rest (with a single passenger seat - dual passenger seat is not available in the UK). The upholstery is a grey velour fabric.

All the seats come as standard with three-point safety belts plus adjustable, removable head restraints.

INNOVATIONS

Technology, a worker’s best friend. On the New Scudo, technology not only makes driving easier, but also makes your work more enjoyable.

Coming as standard on all versions, and useful in all load conditions, is the variable power steering system that makes parking the simplest thing in the world, and the headlight trim corrector for get the best orientation of the lights.

On longer journeys, you can set the cruising speed you want using the optional Cruise Control system, and then sit back and relax. Meanwhile, in cold weather, the Fiat Scudo offers an extra heater, Webasto, which you can pre-set using a timer to ensure that you always have the perfect temperature inside the cab.

There are also numerous other devices to ensure a safer, more relaxing drive: parking sensors, electrically-adjustable and folding wing mirrors, rain sensor and twilight sensor for the automatic activation of the wipers and headlights.

For entertainment when you are on the road, there is a choice of two radios: the first, which is standard, comes with a CD-player; the second is optional with a satellite navigator (with monochromatic or colour maps), GSM dual-band hands-free telephone and voice commands.

Even telephoning couldn’t be easier on the Fiat Scudo, thanks to the Bluetooth device that enables you to use your mobile phone using the steering wheel controls and universal hands-free system. Telephone numbers and SMS messages are shown on the multi-function display on the dashboard.

And last, but not least, there is the Fiat Code system to protect your New Scudo against attempted theft.

SAFETY

On the Scudo, you always lead the way in safety. If you choose to work with the New Scudo, you also choose the very best safety guarantees. On the road, the New Scudo is easy to drive and handles like a car: front-wheel drive with a transverse engine, McPherson type independent wheel front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension.

The braking system, with a double circuit and servo-brake, features 4 discs brakes, with self-ventilated discs at the front. The Fiat Scudo is fitted as standard with a 4-channel ABS anti-lock braking system with EBD and the HBA system (Hydraulic Brake Assistance), which automatically increases the pressure in the braking circuit in panic situations. Also available is ESP, the device that continuously monitors the grip of the tyres and, in the event of a skid, cuts in to restore direction and stability to the vehicle.

The New Scudo also offers the very best in terms of passive safety. The bodyshell has passed the most selective crash tests: the front has programmed deformability while the high-stiffness cab is non-deformable.

All the seats, including the centre seat, come with adjustable head restraints and three-point safety belts as standard. In addition to the driver’s airbag, there is also a passenger airbag for the front seat, while front and rear side airbags are also standard and window bags are available on request.

The entire range comes with the FPS (Fire Prevention System) as standard. The Fiat Scudo is also protected against theft and attempted break-in thanks to the remote-control deadlock system.

STRONG POINTS

Room for between 5 and 9 people
The New Scudo offers style, comfort and elegance for everyone on board: it can easily and comfortably accommodate between 5 and 9 people, with up to 1240 litres of luggage space. Thanks to the modularity of the folding, stowable and removable seats, the interior can be configured to ensure the maximum possible space.

Comfort and handling
It loads like a van but drives like a car: some details have been specially designed to offer better sound-proofing, less vibration and easy-to-use controls, with the gear lever on the dashboard and electric window and wing mirror (optional) controls on the driver’s door handle. In addition, the optional twin front seat comes with a table that folds into the central seat back, and is fitted with a document clip, mobile phone holder and twin can-holder. Meanwhile, the numerous compartments, drawers and pockets help to make this workstation truly special.

The New Scudo is available with a series of Multijet engines, all Euro 4 compliant, including the powerful 140 Multijet Power 136 bhp: outstanding performance and low running costs, with a scheduled service only every 18,000 miles (30,000 km).
